The Vancouver Convention Centre is set up as an overflow hospital during the COVID-19 wave of infections in BC. A change of use in an area that 10 years previously, at this time of the year, was the site of celebrations for the 2010 winter Olympics.

February

Supporters of the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs protest at the entrance to the Vancouver Ports and close Hastings street. The rezoning sign used as a foil on this work was hung on Clarke Drive during the protests and has since been replaced with an untagged version.

January

The building that houses the Jimmi Hendrix shrine is grandfathered into the now changed China Town rezoning. Hogan’s alley ran parallel to this building and the park that borders the viaducts that replaced the neighbourhood, now provides housing through a modular unit.
